Tai Crest Resources Sdn. Bhd. (TCRSB) is a designer and manufacturer of flare burners and their associated ignition system – delivering robust engineering solutions that are compliant with international Oil & Gas standards. Our technical team work collaboratively with customers in making sure every project is fulfilled to completion and earning customers’ satisfaction.

TCRSB is licensed by PETRONAS as a manufacturer of flare system & accessories in Malaysia. We are certified to international standards for quality management system, ISO 9001 and occupational health and safety, ISO 45001. Our pilot burners are certified as Type Approved to API 537 standard.

We treat each operating site individually – meeting specific requirement and understanding case by case unique challenges. Covering wide range of upstream to downstream industries but not limited to production operations, processing facilities and terminals. We are experienced in Malaysia, Thailand and Latin America – onshore & offshore projects and ready to serve global demand.

Our milestone in Malaysia, includes the first wireless ignition system for floating flare unit (FFU) and supply of flare equipment for the first CCS Project.

Engineering Services

Configure course of option and solution that deliver desired results: Design a new or modify existing flaring system that fit for purpose, 3D modelling, and dispersion & radiation studies.

Fabrication and Manufacturing Services

TCR provides in-house design & engineering, manufacturing and testing facilities that brings innovation to life into the hands of clients.

Maintenance Contract

TCR is dedicated in providing maintenance support to ensure minimal downtime period in your project. Our maintenance contract will cover equipment repair, maintenance, inspection and refurbish and after sale services and support.

Vent to Flare Conversion

The right technology to minimize environmental impact from direct emission of VOC, carbon dioxide and methane to the atmosphere. TCR technical experts will assess existing vent system and transform it to flaring system.

Spare Part Provider

Spare parts are essential when it comes to system availability and readability. TCR provides a full range of spares, responding rapidly to requests and can supply spare parts for our own equipment and other third-party packages (following a site survey).

Rental Program

Equipment available to rent: Floating Flare Unit (FFU) and ignition skid. Through our rental program, you can rent for daily, weekly, monthly based on your project needs. You will have support from our team for rental advice and optional maintenance support.

Production Operations

Non economical gases produced from well discovery, well testing and well operation is often flared rather than transported/ stored.

Processing Facilities

After initial extraction, oil and gas must be transported to processing facilities to before distributed to the end-user. During start-up and shutdown of plants – waste products must be flared for emergency pressure relief.
